See history as it happens - through a hands-on, in-person view of technology in arts and humanities.
Most days will be in London, a world leader in the creative arts, innovative museums, and digital humanities; see what’s happening at the cutting edge of conversations about technology, humanities, and the arts.
London is a great place to live, period. Cultural events, entertainment, restaurants, pubs, clubs, shops, parks, festivals -- there’s always something to do. (Not to mention famous attractions like Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, the Tower of London, Madame Tussaud’s, and on and on.)
But you won’t just see the famous sites – in this program, you will explore unique, off-the-beaten-track sites, like cutting-edge galleries and plays.
You’ll also get to engage in a variety of projects and interact with guest speakers, discussing how technology changes how we see the world. Most of our classes won’t be in the classroom; we’ll be meeting all over London, Edinburgh, and Glasgow, taking full advantage of what the city has to offer.
Earn 7 credits in 4 weeks, including an IAH course that fulfills a general education requirement! If you’ve taken your IAH courses, you can take those credits as 400-level Arts and Letters credit. And your final projects will ask you to connect course material to topics that are important to you, so you’ll have the intellectual freedom to explore topics that you care about.
